About The Role

Emerging IT is looking for a motivated, passionate, and talented Level 3 Service Desk Technician to join our Melbourne or Sydney team.

In this diverse role, you will work with a range of different technology and infrastructure. You will help transform organisations and make a real difference by helping them grow and thrive in their respected industries.

This is an opportunity to join a talented and close-knit team in a hybrid working arrangement.

 

As a Level 3 Service Desk Technician, you get to do the following:
  • Present first-class customer experience
  • Ability to engage with staff at all levels including senior management and board-level executives
  • Focus on meeting SLA and incident resolutions
  • Provide appropriate systems support, including training and pre-emptive identification and resolution of user issues.
  • Provide and co-ordinate IT help desk services, including ticket recording, hardware and software installations, user administration, network (LAN) and PC requests and issue resolution
  • Proactively manage issues to define the root cause and recommend permanent solutions
  • Liaise with external software and hardware vendors
  • Ensure that all information-reporting requirements are managed effectively.
  • Administer and support a range of services and hardware.
  • Expected for on-call support. (Roster based system)
  • In-house and customer commissioning and installations.
  • Work in a team to solve problems and find solutions.
  • Provide project support

Experience in IT

Up to 5 years’ experience in IT / MSP environment

ITIL v3 Foundation

ITIL v4 Foundation experience / understanding

Excellent written / verbal communication

Excellent written / verbal communication

Enterprise collaboration (Microsoft Teams VC, Office 365)

Enterprise collaboration
(MS 365)

Cloud: O365, Azure, AWS, SharePoint (Demonstrated Experience)

Time Management Skills

PowerShell scripting skills

Networking: Cisco / Meraki, Aruba

As an MSP we're exposed to a variety of different environments and provide great on the job training, and even offsite training if there is a need.
